The True Story Festival brings together a broad audience and dedicated journalists from around the world. Asking questions and joining the discussion are not only welcome but encouraged.

The festival begins on Friday, 5 June 2026 at Kursaal Bern with the Community Afternoon, an event specifically designed for journalists. For the first time, the doors to the True Story Award ceremony will be open to the public. Experience the recognition of the best reporting and exchange ideas with the award recipients. Admission to all events is free (donations welcome). We recommend reserving a ticket in advance, as capacity is limited.
