Sonia Faleiro is a journalist and the author of The Good Girls: An Ordinary Killing (2021), which was nominated for the RSL Ondaatje Prize, and Beautiful Thing: Inside the Secret World of Bombay's Dance Bars (2010), which was nominated for the Lettre Ulysses Award for the art of reportage. She is the founder of the literary mentorship South Asia Speaks, and the co-founder of the philanthropic initiative Books for Gaza. She lives in London where she is a Royal Literary Fund Fellow.
